Josephus is one. Listen to their Dead Man/Get Off My Case and you'll hear a classic. Choppy riffs, and fantastic writting and playing. This first album is not quite there, but so what: this has all the riffing and blues that Josephus soon expanded on, and if it does not stay in your rotation for years-Dead Man will--it is still a good listen.
